Transformation through Conversation.
Lilikoi Project designs and facilitates conversations for women in business and leadership. We help strengthen judgment, social fluency, connection, and discernment.
We bring women across business, leadership and entrepreneurship together for intentionally designed conversations. Through our thoughtfully curated Table Series and POP! HAWAII—an annual Women’s Day celebration—we design the conditions for consequential conversations.
Helping women think well together.
Our philosophy is simple, the right people, the right questions, and the right conditions can change how we see a problem - and what we do next.
Hawaii offers plenty of opportunities to network. Our professional relationships are primarily valuable to us because of who we connect with. But most networking events assume that if you bring enough people into the room, value will automatically emerge on its own.
Lilikoi Project sees it differently. Despite connection, there are surprisingly few opportunities to slow down and think deeply with the right people. We intentionally compose smaller gatherings around specific questions, bringing together people who may not normally sit at the same table. There is no podium to perform from and no expectation to work the room. Instead, we carefully curate the right conditions for meaningful dialogue.
We stop treating conversation as an incidental part of gathering and start designing the gathering around the conversation itself.

What happens when we gather together and deliberately compose a room?
A question or clear purpose to gather.
Every gathering begins with a timely, complicated question or theme relevant to Hawaii’s leaders. There is no predetermined answer or outcome.
A deliberately composed room.
We bring together people with different experiences, industries, roles and perspectives because that tension between perspectives is where interesting thinking happens.
A facilitated, consequential conversation.
Rather than listening to a series of presentations, participants contribute, question, disagree, listen and build on one another’s thinking.
Something to take with you.
The goal isn’t simply a good evening. Participants leave with a new perspective, sharper questions, the ability to sit comfortably with ambiguity and unresolved issues, and relationships formed through substance rather than small talk.
Four ways to join a conversation.
Table Series: Small, Curated Gatherings Around One Timely Question/Theme.
For women entrepreneurs, executives, leaders and professionals who want something more substantive than another networking event.
Private Facilitation: Bring the Conversation to Your Organization.
We design and facilitate conversations for executive teams, organizations and businesses navigating complex issues, to discuss what’s not being said in the office, to work through change in leadership or competing perspectives.
Shape a Conversation: Become a Perspective Partner or Provide Financial Support.
Each Table Series is developed around a particular issue and informed by people and organizations with relevant experience, expertise or perspective. Perspective Partners and Financial Supporters contribute to help us bring the right conversation and the right people into the right room.
POP! HAWAII: An Evening of Enterprise and Influence
An annual celebration of International Women’s Day, bringing Hawaii’s women-owned businesses, corporate leaders and community together around the idea that buying local is more than a transaction, it’s relational. Buy Local, Know Local.
